The Agentr.ee content library has 4,000+ templates — reels, carousels, captions, scripts, brochures, guides. They're designed by professional designers, but they don't look like yours by default.
That's where customization comes in. Every template is built to be auto-customized with your logo, photos, brand colors, and contact info — so the final post looks like it was made for you, not pulled from a library.
Setting up your brand once Before you even access the Content section for the first time, Agentr.ee guides you through a quick 3-step onboarding process. During this setup, you will add your business details, define your target audience, and establish your core branding.
If you ever need to update or expand these details later, you can manage everything by navigating to Settings:
- Business Profile: Update your core contact details, including your business name, email address, physical street address, phone number, website, and Instagram username.
- Audience: Fine-tune the data that helps tailor your marketing by setting your specific location information (such as target cities, counties, and neighborhoods). You can also select your ideal client types, property types, and specific price ranges.
- Branding: Upload the visual assets that the platform will automatically apply across your templates. You can upload up to 3 personal headshots, up to 3 transparent torso shots, and both your primary logo and a light logo that works on dark backgrounds.
Once this foundation is set, every template you interact with uses your profile data to ensure your final content looks like it was custom-made for you.
How to customize a template
- Open the Content section and browse the Library.
- Click on a template you like to open its detail page and see the full preview.
- Quick-customize your branding. Use the "Customize Branding" panel on the right side of the screen. Here, you can instantly personalize the asset by selecting which of your saved headshots to apply, toggling your logo on or off, and adjusting other brand elements like your website URL or Instagram handle. You can also turn on "Remember my choice" to speed up your workflow for next time.
- Deep edit in Canva (Optional). The Agentr.ee dashboard handles your core visual branding automatically. However, if you need to edit the actual template itself—such as rewriting the text on the image, changing the core layout, or moving elements around—you will need to access the Canva template to make those structural edits there.
- Download the files. Once your branding looks perfect in the preview, click the black Download files button to save the ready-to-post assets directly to your device.
- Copy the caption. Every template comes with a professionally written caption and targeted hashtags. Simply click the Copy caption button above the text box and paste it into Instagram or your preferred scheduling tool.
Best practices
- Keep your brand consistent. Don't keep changing your colors and fonts. Pick a palette and stick with it for at least 6 months. Consistency builds recognition.
- Customize, but don't overhaul. The templates are designed by professionals. Move the logo, change the photo, tweak the text — but don't redesign the layout. The structure is what makes it look professional.
- Use your own photos when possible. A template with your face or your neighborhood photos always outperforms one with stock imagery.
- Save your favorite customizations. When you find a template + customization that works for you, save it. Reuse it monthly with fresh content.
Common mistakes
- Posting templates without customizing. A template with default colors and stock photos looks like a template. Customize before posting.
- Using too many fonts. Stick to the 2 fonts in your brand profile. Adding more fonts looks chaotic.
- Inconsistent brand colors. If your brand color is navy blue, every post should use that navy. Not a slightly different blue from a stock template.
Free vs Pro
