How to create a lead page (and use it to capture leads)

Lead pages are one of the most powerful tools in Agentr.ee — and one of the most underused. A lead page is a single-purpose page built around one specific offer: a buyer's guide, a market report, a coming-soon listing reveal. The goal is one thing: capture an email before delivering the content.

Done right, a lead page becomes an evergreen lead-generation asset that runs for months.

When to use a lead page

Build a lead page when you have:

  • A buyer's or seller's guide you want to gate
  • A market report or local statistics you've put together
  • A coming-soon listing you want to reveal exclusively
  • A piece of premium content (e.g., a relocation guide for your city)
  • An offer that needs a dedicated landing experience (e.g., a free home valuation)

If you're sending traffic from Instagram, an email blast, or a paid campaign — a lead page is the destination.

How to create a lead page

  1. Open the Lead pages section of your Agentr.ee dashboard (under Lead gen → Lead pages).
  2. Click Create new lead page.
  3. Choose your background image. This is the first thing visitors see. Use a high-quality, relevant image — a neighborhood, a home, a person, something tied to the offer.
  4. Write the headline. One sentence. Make it about the visitor's outcome, not your brand. ("The 2026 first-time buyer's guide for Tampa" beats "My guide.")
  5. Write the subheadline. One additional sentence with the value or context. ("Everything you need to know before you start shopping — in 12 pages.")
  6. Set up the form fields. Name and email are usually enough. More fields = lower conversion. If you need extra information (e.g., timeline, preferred contact method), make those fields optional.
  7. Set the content delivery. What happens after they submit? Either redirect to a thank-you page with the download link, or email them the content automatically.
  8. Click Publish. Your lead page is live at agentr.ee/[username]/lp/[slug].

Best practices

  • Keep the form short. Every additional field reduces conversions by roughly 7%. Name + email is the sweet spot for most lead pages.
  • Match the page to your audience. A buyer's guide page should feel different from a seller's market report page. Use imagery and language that matches who you're targeting.
  • Promote the page consistently. Post about it on Instagram. Send it in your newsletter. Add it to your email signature. A lead page that no one visits is a lead page that does nothing.
  • Refresh seasonally. Same form, different topic — keep the page feeling current.

Common mistakes

  • Treating the lead page like an "about me" page. It's not. It's one offer, one form, one outcome.
  • Forgetting to follow up. A lead in your CRM that doesn't get an email within 24 hours is a lead that goes cold.
  • Not tracking which lead page brought the lead. Every lead is tagged by source in Agentr.ee — use this data to know which offers work.

Free vs Pro

Free users can publish 1 lead page at a time. Pro users can run unlimited lead pages — one for every campaign, season, or audience.
